Questions

Do we need tickets?

No. Every stop is outdoors and free. Even the Passetto is seen from outside.

Do we enter the Vatican?

You only cross Saint Peter’s Square: no queues, no security checks. During ceremonies (Wednesday morning, Sunday at noon) the square may be closed: you solve that stop from its edge, with the hints. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times.

How long is it?

About 50 minutes and 1.3 km.

When can we play?

Any day, at any time: no booking, no time slot. Your code is valid for 12 months.

How is it different from an escape room?

No locked room: the room is Rome. The clues are real stones, statues and inscriptions, and it costs less than an indoor escape room.

We are a big group

Choose “Per person”: everyone plays on their own phone, up to 30 tickets, with a private group leaderboard. Schools and companies, write to us.

Where does it start and end?

It starts in Piazza Pio XII, right in front of Saint Peter’s Square. It ends on Ponte Sant’Angelo, ten minutes from Piazza Navona.

Is it stroller or wheelchair friendly?

The route is flat with no stairs, with some cobblestones. To be confirmed on site before launch.

Do I need to know history?

No. Every puzzle has three hints.

Can kids play?

Ages 10+. Under 14 with an adult.
