Questions

Do we need a Colosseum ticket?

No. The whole game is outdoors, around the amphitheatre: it works even when tickets are sold out, and pairs well with your visit, before or after.

How long is it?

About 50 minutes and 1.1 km, all around the Colosseum.

Is it good for kids?

Yes, from age 8: gladiators, weapons and myths to bust. Under 14 with an adult.

When is the best time to play?

Any day, at any time: no booking. In summer there is little shade, so early morning or late afternoon is best. In the evening the Colosseum is lit up.

Where does it start and end?

It starts on Largo Gaetana Agnesi, the terrace above Colosseo metro station. It ends in Piazza del Colosseo, by the Arch of Constantine and the entrance to the Forum.

How is it different from an escape room?

No locked room: the room is the Colosseum. The clues are real stones, statues and inscriptions, and it costs less than an indoor escape room.

We are a big group

Choose “Per person”: everyone plays on their own phone, up to 30 tickets, with a private group leaderboard. Schools and companies, write to us.

Is it stroller or wheelchair friendly?

Most of the route is flat, with cobblestones and one crossing at traffic lights; the starting terrace can also be reached from the street. To be confirmed on site before launch.

Do I need to know history?

No. Every puzzle has three hints.
